3DTCG — Privacy Policy

3DTCG is a trading card scanner and price tracker published by SSS Studios LLC. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it.
The short version. Photos of your cards never leave your phone. Your collection is stored on your device, not on our servers. We do not ask you to create an account. The only data that leaves the app is the text read from a card, so we can look up its price, plus purchase and attribution data handled by Apple, RevenueCat and AppsFlyer.

1. Who we are and what this covers
SSS Studios LLC ("we") publishes the iOS application 3DTCG. This policy covers the app and nothing else. It does not cover the trading card marketplaces or data sources we read prices from, each of which has its own policy.
2. Your camera and your card photos
The app asks for camera access so you can scan a card. This is the part people worry about most, so here is precisely how it works:
- The camera preview and the card detection run entirely on your device.
- Text recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. No image is uploaded anywhere.
- What leaves your phone is the text the app read: a card name and a collector number, sent to our card database to find the matching card.
- We do not store the photo, and we never write it to your photo library unless you save it yourself.
3. Your collection
The cards you add are saved on your device, in the app's local storage. We do not have a copy. If you delete the app, that data is gone, and we cannot restore it for you.

5. What we do not collect
- No account. There is no sign-up, so we hold no name, email or password.
- No photos. Card images are processed on your device and discarded.
- No contacts, location, microphone or health data.
- No sale of personal data. We do not sell or rent it, to anyone, ever.
6. Third parties
Three services process data on our behalf:
- Supabase hosts the card catalog and prices. The app reads from it with a public, read-only key.
- RevenueCat manages subscription state. See their policy.
- AppsFlyer measures marketing attribution. See their policy.
Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.
7. App Tracking Transparency
On first launch the app may ask for permission to track. If you decline, attribution runs without your advertising identifier and the app works exactly the same. You can change your answer at any time in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.
8. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract: looking up prices and managing your subscription.
- Consent: tracking with your advertising identifier, which we only do if you allow it.
- Legitimate interest: measuring non-personalised install attribution and fixing crashes.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Because we hold no account, the fastest route for most data is to delete the app, which removes your collection, and to reset your advertising identifier in iOS settings. For anything else, write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Children
3DTCG is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Retention
Card lookups are not tied to an identity and are not retained as a user profile. Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and afterwards as long as tax and accounting law requires. Attribution data follows AppsFlyer's retention schedule.
12. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
